Hey guys just wondering how much power on 100% load a 580 GTX uses and maybe a 580 with a slight overclock as i think SLI with the cards i was going to get will put my psu out of business so im thinking single card route but just havent been able to see how much power it would take out of a 750w psu with an I2500K @ 4ghz

You'll be good to go with that power supply. BTW you should be fine to overclock both even more. the 2500k can easily hit 4.8ghz with the right cooling.

That sounds good ^_^ ive got a corsair h50 should that be enough to get it to about 4.8ghz without it heating up too much

Absolutely, I'm running 5Ghz at 47 multiplier and 1.4V full boar at less than 60C with air quality air cooling no problem. I'd go for 5Ghz with the H50, if I were you. Monitor temps to see if you pass 70c if so dial back to 4.8. I forget where my bclk is at I think 106.5. I know for a fact If I wanted 5.5Ghz I could get there but the voltage would be detrimental to my cpu so no thanks lol
