530J to 650J Performance increase?

If I sold my 530J I just got and bought a 650 will it be worth it much or should I just leave it. Im curious because I know in 6 months Im going to want to sell my CPU and a 64bit one might sell better seeing as how thats where things are headed? I also want a bit more speed :D
 
The 650's are 64Bit. A 650 will be a 3.4GHz part instead of a 3.0GHz part. Plus theres more L2 cache on a 600 series processor. You also get EDB support, as well as Thermal Management 2 and Speed Step 2.

I think it's worth it.
 
Plus I believe its a different stepping which usually = better overclocking.

Well I don't know that anyone has actually tried the newer steppings for overclocking. I am sure someone has, but theres not alot of data on it.

But yes a newer improved stepping can infact make a better overclocker. Of course sometimes the reverse is true. But on paper E0 stepping CPU's look like great overclockers and the newer 600 series has many of the E0 features.
