Will the 550vx Corsair run 2 8800gt cards in sli? The 520hx is sli certified why not the 550?

The VX550 was recently SLI certified. It will run 2 8800GT cards fairly easily unless you have an absurd number of hard drives or you're doing insane phase change/liquid no2 cooling or something.

The SLI certification can take some time, so when it first shipped it was in the certification process. It recently passed the certification process, however.

For example, both the TX650 and TX750 are available for sale right now, but we're still working on the SLI certification paperwork and such for them. They should be certified within a couple of weeks.
