This is my system
e6400
Geforce 8800gts
4GB DDR2
320 GB HD x 2

should i get the 520hx or the 620hx

i mean lets say the rebates dont come?
 
The 520HX will work just fine for that rig, although I would still tend to recommend the 620HX just because it's not that much more expensive and will give you a bit more power should you decide to add another 8800 or a bunch more HDDs or something.
 
620hx is $90AR at clubit at that price you just can't go wrong with it
 
+1 on the 620.

Again, 520 would run your system with plenty of headroom, but why not go for the 620? It does look better, and has a little better future upgrade potential.

Yep. 520W will work, but there's no such thing as "too much power", especially if you can get it at a sweet deal.

Dude 3-4 weeks is a short time, and it is a better solution long term. The 620 is absolutely the best price/performance PSU right now. It is powering my new quadcore and will be with me for at least another complete upgrade or two over the next 2-3 years. Get it and outlay the upfront cash. You will not regret it.
 
wow 3-4 weeks is mad short. my crucial memory rebate takes 8-12 weeks. yeah im still waiting on that 40 bucks been like 6-7 weeks so far
 
just bough the 520 since the 620 was not in stock
need the psu right away
 
Whats funny is everyone talked me out of gettnig the 620 when i built my rig. They all said take the extra$ and put it towards something else. The 520 is very solid and runs great.
 
Even if you won't "use" the 620 now, get it. The headroom will be nice.

It's like a 750w-800w psu from other manufactures due to it being tested at a lower temp than the others
 
I submitted my rebate in with Corsair 3-4 weeks ago and still it hasn't been posted =(

But most people I know haven't had any problems with it
