i am installing a 5200 nividia, on a pc that has a 7000 ati radeon. it gives me a black screen. if i disable the radeon i may be left with no video, as i dont have a back up of xp.

what do i do?

Where does it give you a black screen? when you attempt to boot into windows, or as soon as your turn on your PC?

if you disable your onboard radeon (im assuming this is what you mean) you can go right back in and re-enable it....

Is this an AGP card or PCI card, or a PCI express or Onboard?

your windows install/all your data is stored on your harddrive. you can always recover that data through another PC worste case scenerio.
