500w FPS (Blue)...Is it enough?

So I'm putting together a new machine heres what I have in mind :

C2D (e6420)
965 mobo (not sure which yet)
8800gts 640mb
Swiftec 655 pump
3 120mm fans
3 80mm fans
3 HDD's
1 DVD RW drive

I was hoping to use the 500w FPS (blue storm) with this build, but if I need to I'll get something with some more power. I noticed most of the newer boards have a 8pin power header on the mobo, will I need a native 8 pin psu? Thanks,

you'd probably want to get the blue storm 2 model if you can, it has higher efficiency. but in all you'll be happy with it.
