500GB SSD Suggestion

Hello Hard folks,

I'm in the market for a 500 GB SSD drive to be my main boot drive on my rig. The computer is an old sandybridge system and I'm coming from a mechanical hard drive so super speed really isn't my concern. My main concern is longevity of the drive. (This is my first SSD)

I've been reading and while TLC has improved recently, MLC seems to be the way to go for consumer drives right now. I've been looking at the Kingston HyperX and Crucial MX200, but thought it wise to ask those who have gone before me.

Do you have a 500GB SSD drive using MLC style memory that you would recommend for around $150 USD?

Sandisk Ultra II is a good drive. Comparable performance to the Samsung EVO 850.

I would take 40nm 3D NAND TLC over ~19nm planar MLC.
 
I ended up ordering a crucial mx200 drive. Coming from a mechanical drive the difference is amazing.
