Alrighty, with the new AMD price cuts looks like the 5000+ is going to be right around the 400 mark and the E6600 will be around 350. I've been a long time fan of AMD. anyone know how the 5000+ OC's? or would i just be silly to buy into an old tech since the new conroe is a brand spankin new core?

An E6600 is faster then an FX-62 at stock speeds which is 2.4GHz. An E6600 is capable of 3.5GHz-4GHz on aircooling. An AM2 5000+ wont be able to keep up.
