Here is the scoop... my wife's macbook is on it's last leg and I am going to give her my mid 12' MBP that she will be happy with. I'm going to be in the market for a new laptop or tablet.... I would like to play some games no FPS or anything...I'm thinking more of Diablo, Civilization etc...I don't have many mandates for this just looking more for the forums opinions on quality options within the price range $5-600...Thanks in advance...

Thank you for the opinion and options and no I don't have to stay in the budget it's pretty open. I won't spend more than a thousand but I would have to be sold on the benefits. Since I posted this I've been doing some more research...what are everyones' thoughts on the Surface 3? It seems quite impressive. I've read the reviews but would like to hear from some actual owners here if possible. I am in school and utilize eclipse for a programming class, would like to play some games again civilization, maybe Diablo etc....was looking at the i5 surface pro 3 thoughts? I like it's compact features and I have a tower at home that does the grunt work for my computing life...

Love my Surface Pro 3, I've had the i7/8 GB/512 GB model since early November. You can get the i5 /4 GB/128 GB with Type Cover for $1030 now.
