I'm looking for a pair of around your ear headphones for music listening and gaming. Since I'm buying this off of a giftcard the price cannot be over $50 including shipping. Currently i'm looking at a pair of Sennheiser EH-150, can anyone comment of it or give me another suggestion?

Thanks

My vote goes to the Sennheiser PX 100 or the Koss porta pros. They don't look like much, but in terms of sound quality under $50, I don't really think that they can be beat.

Raise your budget a bit and I'd recommend a pair of Grado SR60s.

I also forgot to mention that it should somewhat block out external noises. The JVC one looks like it'll block out more noise than the first two.

I have the PX 100s and they're excellent, at least to my non-audiophile ears.

But I think the OP is looking for closed cans.

how will the JVC one compare to Philips SHP8500 (found them for cheap at a local store 2 years ago).
