I can get a set of ProMedia Ultra 5.1 for about $230 and I figure I could get $100 or so out of my ProMedia 2.1. Is 5.1 worth that much money? And how does the new Logitech 5.1 set compare to the Klipsch?
 
I'd say it's worth it. The z-680's have more bass, but the promedia ultra's have a slightly richer sound.
 
after doing some research, looks like I'm going with the Klipschs
