I have Guild Wars for the PC, and the collectors edition comes with a headset that allows you to talk to your teammates. However, Im having an issue with getting everything coming out of the correct speakers.
I have 5.1 surround sound, so Im assuming thats where my problem originates. I have the Creative type with the little "remote station" control that can operate the Bass Level, Volume, and even has a headphone port. The 5.1 Surround is hooked up on my sound card through 3 different ports...none of which can be removed as far as I can tell.
Id like to get the conversation with my friends coming through the headser speakers (not currently in use), and still have the games music and everything coming through the 5.1 speakers. The microphone seems to be working fine, and Skype has no issues with it.
However, right now my friend's voice is coming through the 5.1, as the headphones arent even hooked up, as they make my 5.1 useless.
How can I get everything to work in harmony? If I have to snag something at Radio Shack, thats fine, Id just like it all to work.
