I recently picked up a new receiver for my home theater and have an extra Yamaha RX-V863 laying around. I would like to add a 5.1 speaker setup to pair with the yamaha which will be used mostly for gaming.

I haven't decided on a budget yet, but definitely under $1000. However, I don't want to spend too much because I will be complementing the system with my current Sennheiser HD-595 headphones. I also do currently have a pair of old Venture bookshelf speakers I will be using until I pull the trigger on this 5.1 system.

Also, is anyone familiar with the audio output from a Nvidia GTX-295? I read in a few places that some people are having trouble with audio pass-through to the receiver. I would like to send DTS to the receiver for games that support it.
