So I have the following config

Windows 8 x64
Asus i7 3.4ghz
16 GB
3 x 240GB SSD in Raid 0
2 x Asus AMD 7850
4 x 23" Nec LCD's

The issue I am having is I have 3 displays hooked up to the first
video card and they work fine but the forth doesn't. It won't show any
video till I remove the AMD drivers and software sweet but as soon as
I reinstall it, it won't detect a forth screen. I have tried old, new
and beta drivers but no luck. And this is all a fresh install and the
LCD works fine and the cables are good.

Any ideas?

do you have all 4 displays connected to the primary card or do you have 1 of the monitors connected to the second card? if you have it setup with 3 on card 1 and 1 on card 2, its because installing the drivers is enabling crossfire which disabled the 4th monitor.

Assuming this is a socket 1155 setup, you should have an available video output on the motherboard due to the integrated GPU in the i7. Use that for your 4th monitor.
