The 4k 144hz are too expensive and I dont need 144. Can I get some options in the 75 to 120 hz range? thank you

Not many options out there right now. Only one I can think of is the Acer XB273K/P (KP is the G-SYNC version, K is the Freesync/G-SYNC Compatible version). This is the same monitor as the X27, but without the FALD. It goes for around $1,200 USD compared to $2,000 for the X27.

Right there with you OP.

I looked for a bit too here in the last week and it looks like $800+ for likely a 27in 4K monitor that most of what I want. $1200+ has everything I want.

Still pretty spendy but to get gsync and better than the 27in 1440p /144hz I have now isn’t going to be cheap.

It is best to just wait for cheaper HDR capable 4K monitors if you do not actually need to buy monitor right now.

If you're a Costco member, I just received the G-Sync XB3 (be aware, I waited 2 weeks for shipment, new orders are probably longer now):

I'm very impressed so far. I waited a long time because I wanted something 120 Hz minimum like my decade old Planar 2311 (plus 4K and whatever flavor adaptive sync), and this at $699 fit the bill.

48CX blows them out of the water.

It looks really nice and I read the thread here about it. More OLED options would be nice. 40+ inch screen is just too big for me to sit in front of personally. Maybe 32 but that’s about my limit. As a couch gaming setup the 55 looks like a winner
