I mainly watch movies on my sofa and sometimes browse the web at my desk probably 3-4ft away. Would the pixel density be too low to use for web browsing? What problems could I have with a screen that size?

Agreed. I have a 65" curved 4k in my living room that I briefly hooked up to my PC. The sharpness was not necessarily a problem, there was just a lot of head movement to find things on screen. 6' felt more natural, but until Windows 10 and/or some decent scaling for 4k comes out, there is too much squinting involved for any distance imo.
