i recently bought a gigabyte 7600gt with silent pipe cooler ... i wanted to pull the cooler off and mount a low profile maze4 gpu block to it. I wanted specifically to be able to use the four way mounting holes that uses the danger den acrylic four way back plate...

Once i got the stock cooler off it looks like a two hole design .. the are four holes but they are too close together to use the dd maze4 4way.

Can anyone confirm that a 7600gt pcb design exists that can accept a danger den maze4 gpu four way mount?

thanks,

mal

the holes that exist on mine are two wide ones that fit two of the four holes on the acrylic dd top .. (basically it's a standard 2 hole design)

this is the one i have

If you look at Swiftech's site you'll see that they have a list of 7600GT's that work with the MCW60 and all but two will, sadly yours was one of the two that wouldn't as was another heatpipe design 7600GT, I'm thinking it was the ASUS.

The others all feature the four hole mount like the 6800 on were using. The 7300s and the 7600GS won't work with four hole mounting which makes me wonder if your GT is based on a GS PCB.
