Hey everyone,
I've just OC'd an E8400 with 4GBs of DDR2 to 4GHz. I'm running an 8800gt with it and I'm noticing some strange behavior. The system is stable and OC'd from within windows. AFAIK Speedstep is turned off.
Both Gears of War and Crysis cinematics are playing way too fast and the dialog is cutting off way too quick. IE.) certain words are missing from the end of sentences, only to be cut off by new sentences. Framerate is much better than my Opteron 170, but what good is that when the games are going too fast!
Am I missing a dual core driver or something like that? I knew I had to install some kind of driver for my Opteron 170, but do I need to do this for a core2duo? I haven't been on the blue team for a while (3 years), so any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
