I'm finishing up a system build and seem to be happy with the ASUS P5K-E MB. I'm going to be running 4 GB of 1066 DDR2 on Windows XP 32 bit. I run audio apps mostly for home recording and my software is built for XP 32.

Is this going to be a problem?

Nope. Windows will only see and be able to use 3.2 to 3.5GB of it. But other than that, will run fine.

Sweet. I've heard some people complaining of memory compatibility, but I wasn't sure if this would throw a wrench in the gears so to speak.

Such as this Gent from a different thread:

Yes, 1st and 3rd slot, banks 0 & 1. I have also tried taking out one stick for a while because I know there have been issues running 4GB and I just wanted to make sure that wasn't the problem.
