After several generations of nvidia cards I purchased a 4890 back in '09. It has performed admirably but I'm ready for an upgrade. I'm looking to go back to nvidia, but I can't decide if I should get a gtx 560 ti or spend the extra dough for a gtx 570.

specs:

i5 750
4gb ram
corsair 750w psu

game at 1080p resolution

my mobo is not sli capable.

also, with the gtx 560 or 570 would I be able to play batman AA with phsyx on high without needing a separate physx card?

just get the gtx560 unless you can find a good deal on the gtx570. I would wait until after the gtx590 launches next week because there is a good chance prices may come down a bit. and yes a gtx560 can easily handle Batman with high physx without a dedicated physx card. even on my old gtx260 I can average 45-50 fps with it on. when I used a gtx470, which is a little bit slower than a gtx560, I was pegged at 60fps with vsync on.
