sold my 770 and i'm using an old asus eah4890 in the meantime. everywhere i look i see that both dvi ports on the card are supposed to support full dual link bandwidth, yet the yellow one seems to only be single link. my vg236 will only go to 60 hz when plugged into the yellow port (supposed to be so you can identify which port can carry audio apparently) and my qx2710 throws up either its test sequence or some horrible corrupted image. is the yellow port actually single link and all of these sources saying it's dual link are wrong or what? i'd like to be able to use both instead of just the vg236 at 120 hz.
 
Since one monitor is freaking out I would guess that one of the links in the yellow port is not working as intended. Have you done a full display driver cleanup after changing the cards? If you're lucky it could be the driver causing it.
