4870x2 Win 7 Wierdness

Hi, I recently made the jump to Win 7 x64 (7100) from Vista (x64).

I'm running a water cooled Asus 4870x2.

I've noticed that the 4870x2 core speeds under Win 7 do not adjust properly when 3D mode initiates.

In 2D mode both cores sit at 506/500

One core scales properly to 750/900, the other sits at stock, 506/500.

One core draws 10-30 amps and the VRM temp increases to 50C, the other draws 9.8 amps and the VRMs sit at 30C

I'm monitoring the card with rivatuner 2.24 and gpu-z 0.3.4

Both cores show up in device manager and CCC, i've even tried overclocking them both in CCC, but still, only one is scaling.

I've tried the new Win7 WHQL Drivers and the 9.4 vista release to no effect.

Everything was fine in Vista, both cores in parity.

Can anyone help???
 
Guess not :)

Seems like uninstalling CCC and the latest driver, and letting Win7 select it's own default driver fixes the issue.
