I don't know if its the card or not, but I think its underperforming. I've set everything on high with 16AF and 16AA under the CCC settings and the games I'm playing at the moment seems to be getting low FPS, I thought this card was able to handle the highest settings under 1680x1050. I've disable v-sync and everything so I don't think that is limiting anything. So is this normal or not?
 
Try 8.54 betas for 8.9

Should also tell us what Games your playing, what FPS, FPS you expect and all settings in CCC.
 
After going back to the 8.8 officials from the 8.9 betas and doing some more testing...I feel that the 8.9 betas(ver. 8.54 is still the best in cod4 at least. Both versions perform well in Grid. Also idle temps for some odd reason in my system are a lot lower. Bah, I'm going to have a heck of a time trying to get back to 8.54 drivers, lol.
 
Well, in Enemy Terrority: Quake Wars I'm getting at least 20-30 FPS average all settings maxed out, 16AF, 16AA.

In Mass Effect, I'm getting at least 10-20 FPS which is horrible, settings maxed out, 16AA, 16AF.

COD4: Average: 30-50 FPS, 16AF, 16AA.
 
So how did those 8.9 betas work for ya?

Is the core duo a single core? That may have something to do with it..
 
Haven't tried the 8.9 betas, or do you mean the 8.8 beta? I googled 8.9 but I can't find anything.

I'm using a dual core CPU.
