I have put my XSPC Razor on my gpu and my computer will not post. I rebooted several times and nothing.

I was getting the red light issue and I reseated and then tighted screws. They have gone away.

Now when I clear my CMOS and save settings to the appropriate boot drive nothing.....:mad:

What is happening hear?

These are both new RMA'd mobo and gpu?

Thoughts?
 
Sounds like you borked your card installing the block. Did it work before you installed it?
 
I did not even try it before I installed the block.

Would I be even able to get the one post I get after clearing the CMOS?

I can hear the drive work and load up windows.

I tried the VGA adapter and nothing.
 
when resetting your cmos.. do you know if your board sets your memory voltage/timing correctly? because this is identical to the problem i have with my system.. everything will turn on.. i can hear everything load yet no display.. then i have to throw in some cheap back up memory.. set the voltage correctly.. then put the other memory in and it finally boots up correctly.. thats about the only thing i can think of otherwise like kil4thril said.. ya borked the card..

I will give that a try tonight. With the reset it would be auto, which it should be fine for this chip I would think.
 
Well it ended up being my PSU. Went to Fry's and picked up another PSU and wham it worked.

Man a lot of fuss for nothing. Well maybe not nothing.

They had Cosmos S cases there for $149.

So I will be picking me up one of those and starting this craziness over again in that thing.

If any is in the market for a nice Zalman GS1000 LMK ;)
