4870x2 Help please

i installed my visiontek 4870x2 today and i need alittle help.

the 2d clocks seem to be 507core/500memory... running a 3d app in window mode does NOT switch to crossfire or 3d clocks and my system locks up.

a few games i play only run in window mode and dont require a ton of 3d power but it still locks the computer up. my full screen games run and switch to 3d clocks but still seem kinda jerky every 5-6sec.. it like jumps forward alittle.

other than editing the bios for 24/7 3d clocks/volts anyway to fix this?

ive tryed 8.11 and 8.10 reg/dna's
 
Cutting it a little close with you PSU and 4 hard drives in your signature?
 
think i got the problems fixed, i edited the stock bios to run 3d clocks/volts 24/7 and changed the fan profile to reflect that. 8.11s also once installed right fixed my lag problems.
