4870X2 Benchmarks Low

I am running 3DMark Vantage on Intel Q6600 (65nm) @ 2.4GHz, Biostar TPower I45, GSkill DDR2 4-4-4-12, Visiontek ATI 4870X2 (750MHz/900MHz) with catalyst 8.9 drivers on Vista64. My CPU scores are matching up with three other systems in their database, but my GPU scores are about half the others. I don't know why, but it's almost like it's using half the card.

How are people checking performance? What do I check to see what's going on? Any help very appreciated...

If you want to check your performance...maybe you should try using it in an actual game?

Whats the score? I got 14008 graphics which is around what you should be getting.

If he gets a much lower score he does have a legit concern in respects to Vantage in that the drivers weren't installed correctly.

Get that cpu speed up dude. I'd never run a card like that with anything less than 3 ghz personally. Reduces overhead. I'm running a E2160 @ 3.0 ghz dual core with a GTX 260 oc'ed. Runs great.

P7367 vs. the usual ~P12000-13000 I see with other similar systems. CPU looks fine at P8670.

I would, but I just built and benchmarked the system. I want to make sure all is well before I start overclocking. Seems like something is wrong...

GPU-Z reports "ATI Crossfire" is "Disabled (unsure on Vista64)"

3DMark Vantage reports "Linked Display Adapters" as "false" under its System Info section.

(So, looks like signs on the "Techie 8-ball" are pointing to no crossfire going on. Of course, the clocks being reported by RivaTuner, Vantage and GPU-Z are all screwy, so trusting the Crossfire reporting is plagued with doubt...)
