I've got a couple 4870's en route, currently I'm using a 42" Westinghouse as my monitor (LVM42w2) and would like to get a higher quality 24"-26" LCD as my main monitor, and use the Westy primarily as a 2nd display for movies/xbox 360.

I've heard dual monitor isn't supported by SLI, does the same hold true for Crossfire?

I'm not interested in gaming on two screens at once, I'd just like to be able to have two screens operating at once, one for gaming, the other as the extension of my desktop, for IRC and whatever else.

Is this possible?
