4870 X2 Stuttering Issue

My 4870 X2 kind of 'jumps' rhythmically every 5-6 seconds in games, where it seems almost like it's skipping frames at that point. Just a little hiccup every 5-6 seconds, never in between and it always happens. Is this normal/microstuttering or is it some other issue? Vista 64 SP1
 
I've noticed it in WoW (both Live and Wrath beta), don't have anything else really installed yet on the new box besides 3dmark - gonna get something else on and try
 
Do you have v-sync enabled?

I haven't noticed anything myself but don't play WoW.
 
I tracked down the problem, having CCC open to watch my temps while I played with fan speeds was causing the stutter.

Everything is smooth and nice now!
