4870 + spore crashing

I keep getting crashes with my 4870 in spore, with the 8800GTS 512 I didn't get any! but now I do, all my other games seem to work fine, I've tried 8.8 and 8.9 both the same, I've tried running my system @ stock speeds(cpu ram mobo and vcard) no luck either. it hangs my whole system ><
 
ok! so i solved it,

the reason spore crashes is because of some superior power play setting in the bios, its disabled in the asus bios so flashing that fixed it! seems to be working ok now =) and i set the default clocks to 800/920 seems ok so far, crysis ran fine for a while

if anyone needs help on how to flash without a floppy lemme know! .
