How are people's OC with ATI CCC with the 4870. Is it safe and a noticeable difference using the maxed out settings of 790/1100 in CCC? Just curious...
 
Before I sold my 4870 to buy a 4870x2, I used 790/1100 settings for about one month without a problem. I'll be honest though, overclocking the memory won't help much at all other than benching. You would be better off just overclocking the core speed and prevent that extra heat from the memory by leaving it at default speed.
