4870 CCC Settings don't stick?

So, I've dealt with the heat problems, the fan problems, and finally got a good OC going on for my 4870... And, after a week of tweaking, settled down to actually play a few games.

But, to my surprise, I find that most of the CCC settings don't stick for very long. If I load a profile and go into a game, it's absolutely fine, and everything I set in CCC appears in the game (mainly, 4x EDAA and 16x AF, with VSYNC off). However, after a few quit and re-launch cycles, the CCC settings no longer work in game.

For example, I can load up oblivion, and it's gorgeous. Quit for 30s to change a setting or something, go back into the game, and bam, no AA, 60fps cap, no AF etc... Even though I've set it to 4x AA, no Vsync and 16x AF.

Any 3D app would cause this error... For example, running 3D mark after a few furmark tests will force 3Dmark to run without the settings I have chosen in CCC. This happens in COD4 too (as I just tested) and Crysis.


Re-applying the profile does *not* fix this error. Only a full reboot will.

Any ideas?
