4850 in crossfire and pci-e issues

im goign to order 2 x 4850's to crossfire. im also goign to order a mobo.

the x48 series seems a bit pricey for my liking, so im leaning towards the p5q pro.

i understand the p5q pro has pci-e 2.0 but 8x 8x lanes as opposed to the 16x 16x lanes of the x48.

will my performance be bottlenecked at all by this?
