Its not in a closet but in a cabinet attached to my computer desk. There are a couple of holes in the back for cables, and the front door is not a perfect seal. Some air gets in and some air gets out. When I open the cabinet (+100F days or long gaming sensions) the temps go down, but only buy 5C.

I prefer quiet systems, the Antec Solo does not have many fans,and the ones I have are slow speeds. The HD4850 has a slow fan to keep it quiet, unless it gets to hot.

Part of having quiet sytems is dealing with the heat, its a trade off you have to accept.
