480gtx sli

I have a corsair 1000w hx psu. Will that be enough to power an sli setup with 480gtx's?
 
Just make sure the flux capacitor has enough fluid and you should be OK.


Seriously though, it should run it fine - I would be more concerned with cooling.
 
I plan on putting two in my sig rig and upgrading pluging in my i7-980x and my calculations are that I'll be fine with my current 1k PSU.
 
I think jsut about every review has power consumption figures and they're all around the mid 600watt range for a 480SLI setup. So yeah, 1kw will be plenty, even if you have sevearl more drives and fans than the test beds do.
