480 still getting sold out?

So I see website are getting out of stock for gtx 480. So how many people bought it here?

Its out of stock because the vendors haven't received the initial shipments. Nvidia delayed it a few weeks

It won't ship till April 12th.

March 26th was a paper launch.

Only review sites and such are getting the GTX 480 to bench and write articles on.

The only place you can pre-order is from Amazon, and that's only for the Zotac brand.

It's listed "out-of-stock" or "auto-notify" everywhere else because they haven't started taking orders yet.

Make jokes about the 480's heat and noise issues all you want in multi-GPU configurations the performance is looking to mind blowing even if it is circuit breaking.

I was all set to get 3 for a 3× SLI build but may scale it back to only two because of the heat and power issues. The card will sell to those who want the fastest of the fast and can deal with the heat and power problems.
