45w v. 65w processors

Assuming the same clock speed (2.5ghz) - are the 45w processors much slower than the 65W variants (ie: less cache, etc?)
 
No. Generally they're newer/smaller process, so they run cooler. They could have less cache, but that isn't necessarily true.
 
45w FTW I have a 4050e for my HTPC and it doesnt have any problems doing anything i throw at it.
 
I love the low power dual cores, i gave a b-series cpu and 780g mobo to a friend for a htpc and they run so cool.
