450w with 6850

depends on what else is in there, but it can't be too much more. i have an sg05 that has a 380w psu and a 6850 was perfect in it. my 6850 is the xfx double d version.

I had an old Acbel iPower 450W powering up the HD6850. No problem.

If your anything like me you will be wanted to throw more and more in your case, so if you have any thought of expansion go biggeryou will thank yourself later.

that will run 7870 easy.

i am running 7850 with 400w 7 year old silverpower psu. no problem so far.

Same here: single 6-pin XFX 7850, 2 fans, SSD, 2HD's, DVD, running on this very power supply. I am not sure if it gets better than that in this form factor (well, maybe the new modular version...). Fan is kinda loud in mine, though.

OP was asking about SFX power supply though, these come in at 550w max and are not the normal size ATX power supplies. there won't be much more room to throw things into the SG05 case either, max default room allows for 1 laptop dvd drive, 1 3.5" hdd and 1 2.5" hdd. also about a 10.5" dual slot graphics card and mini ITX motherboard and 1 120mm case fan. this is without case mods.
