450W Silverstone ST45SF

Looking at buying a Maingear Potenza with an OC'd i7 4770k and GTX 780. I thought the 450W seemed low but I talked to one of the reps at Maingear and he said they did a number of tests even with a Titan card and it still had about 100W left to spare at full load.

Now I don't doubt their word but I just wanted to get some input from elsewhere to reach a general consensus.
 
450W is ample, yes. You should, however, insist on the ST45SF-G, which is the 80 Plus Gold model. The ST45SF is only Bronze-rated.
 
Many of us are running that PSU with the same or even more power hungry components with success. Myself included. You should be good to go.
