Ok so I am looking to get me an HD set some time this summer and the space I am going to fill will accept up to a 42inch wide unit. Lucky me 42 inch displays fit (for the most part). Now I have walked around best buy but I see nothing in the way of 1080p screens. Searching the web I see a 42 inch westinhouse LCD but I want to know is that the only 1080p 42 incher on the market? If not are there any 42 inch plasmas?

For the 37"-42" ranged people and 1080p most people recommend the Westinghouse anyway. Best bang for the buck, and has tons of inputs, and since many enthusiasts have satelite/cable etc, it also is less expensive because it does not have a TV tuner. Not to mention its sound bar is removeable.
I'm sure there are tons of 42" plasmas, but it's the 1080p part I'm not too sure about.

check out the 42 inch sceptre lcd also. i think costco sells them. dontk now about the quality compared to westinghouse, but it might be something to look at. also, westinghouse isnt plasma, its LCD, and it looks good. im tempted to bite on either that or one of the samsung 1080p sets...
