4-pin ATX right angle adapter???

Has anybody hear every heard of or seen a right angle 4-pin ATX connector?

Or barring that even existing (which I'm doubting it does)

has anybody ever seen a low profile 4-pin ATX connector?

I have a shuttle computer, and a gtx 280. The fan shroud on the gtx 280 extends to the back of the card, unlike its predecessors that were the same length but had bare pcb at the back.

When I go to seat the PCI card the shroud pushes down on the connector and.the card wont settle in properly, I'm not going to stuff the card down by force and break the connector off the motherboard, or leave the card half cocked and barely making contact.

So what I'm looking to do is reduce the height of the atx 4-pin connector as it goes into the motherboard.

Any suggestions?
 
I've never seen one, and a quick google search didn't find anything either, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. Worst case scenario, you could always trim the plug down with a knife or dremel to the height you need.
 
Thanks for the response. I've looked on and off all day, can't find a thing. I've decided to basically use the pins from a molex connector, bent at 90 degrees and sleeved to avoid shorts. All done using a 4 pin extender cable.connected to the power supply cable so I can put it back to stock if the need ever arises,

or if video card designers can ever make high performance cards that aren't so GD huge.

hate having to jimmy rig something like that, but I'm sorta kinda stuck,

What motherboard do you have?

It's the Shuttle SFF listed below in my sig, the prob is that they (in their infinite engineering wisdom) placed the 4 pin ATX power connector directly behind the primary Pci-E slot.

Basically every high performance card since the 7800 series has been long enough to make contact with that plug, the difference is, the GTX200 series is the first card series to have the fan shroud extend the full length of the card. My 8800 hit the plug too, but it was bare PCB on the end where the plug made contact, so it was a non-issue.
