I am getting a ps5
Is a 2tb ssd enough for 95% of people or should I find a 4 tb

This is more a personal preference, do you have lots of games or tons of games?

But whatever you buy, get this heatsink ElecGear PS5 NVMe SSD Heatsink

It’s for my sons. Trying to figure out if 2 is plenty or will I regret. They don’t have any ps5 games currently.

Thx for the heat sink recommendation. They charge a pretty penny for those but I’ll pick that up.

I would go with a 2TB with the current prices. The 4TB will only get cheaper in the future and that 2TB will last you a while till prices come down. I was in the same situation when I bought my son his PS5. We went with a 1TB SN850X. At the time it was roughly $180 and it lasted him a year before being filled up. A year later and I upgraded to the 2TB version for $150. So start with the 2TB and down the road you can always upgrade.
