Okay, I bought my new case and the guy I bougth it from included two free clear LED fans. On one of the fans though one of the LEDs isn't working. It doesn't appear that any of the wires have any broken contacts. Anyone know how to get one working agani?

Thanks

Ryan

Well, it seems one of the LEDs is burnt out. RE-solder another one...

STUPID question: Are you sure it's a 4 led fan? I've had quite a few 3 led fans in the past!

Oh yeah, there's four of them. I have checked the leads going to it and make sure they're all in seemingly good shape. :) They're not in the fan itself, but in the little supports that hold the fan motor to the guard rim.

I didnt' know LEDs could burn out though. I gues now that I think about it though they can eventually.

It's possible the LED NEVER worked... Do you have a multimeter?

Oh I forgot all about this thread. I tested it out and swapped it out with a known working one it worked, so the LED is bad. But the green LED looked funny with three prurple ones around it. I'll just deal with three of them. It's not like I can see them anyway. Thanks for the help though.
