4 Gigs of Ram... or 2x 800GTX ?!

Ok Guys,

I was just wondering which setup would give me a better advantage for gaming.

Two 8800GTS's in SLI with 4GIGS Of Ram, ( Corsair XMS PC2-6400 )

or

Two 8800GTX's in SLI with only 2GIGS Of Ram, ( again Corsair XMS PC2-6400 )

PS, Resolution I'll be playing at is 1920x1080. < 47 Inch Westy Monitor.

performance should be better and you can always buy more ram
 
47" monitor? Where the hell do you put something like that???

Anyway, get the GTXs for sure.
 
If it's a 64-bit processor running 64-bit Windows, and you have the money to spare right now, go for the 4GB. You won't have to upgrade your RAM again for at least another two, maybe three years. Till BF3 anyways.

Otherwise, yes, 2GB + twin GTXs.
 
The only reason to even bother with 4gb is if you are running Vista. Sure you could run XP 64bit, but what would your extra memory come in handy for? I doubt there is anything you do currently that needs it.
