i have a really bad board it does not have vcore or any god ocing options for that matter so i was looking at this site and i see this volt mod for LGA775 so i did it and i got my cpu up to 3.950 stable http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=122743 it will do up to 3.970 stable as a rock the voltage mod was for 1.55 vcore and every time i try to do 4.00 it freezes up will not even let me shut it off i have to pull the plug anyone know how i can fix that

Sometimes, man, you just have to forget about that last little 50 MHz that broke the camels back.

That's a pretty damn good overclock as it is. Not all chips are created equal, I'd be happy with those results.

It's been done. Should be safe as long as you don't put too much volts into it. Memory isn't really my specialty though.

dont worry am good with silver lucker :p lol but do u kno where i can gett some info

I'm not exactly sure what the safe voltages are for 24/7 use, but you can probably safely do 2.8-2.9v on the mem, but I wouldn't leave it at that without some fan blowing on it.
