FYI - instancing doesn't work with these drivers in Far Cry. We will probably have to wait for the official drivers for that.

just asking did you enable it in console and the sm2bpath?

I put it in the path with the sm2bpath command and also toggled it on and off on console. When I cranked up the vegetation distance setting to "100" I took a noticeable frame rate loss.

looks like the didnt enable those features in this beta...whats up with that?

People who have posted over at Guru3d seem to think that the OGL improvements are already included in this beta... whether that's good or bad is up to you
