3x Infiniband Hosts without Switch

Hello,

Setting up a Hyper-V 3.0 / SMBDirect environment in my home lab. Bought 3x MHQH 19B-XTR Infiniband cards. Each of these cards has 2x IB ports. Do I need a IB switch to link all 3 hosts together or can I use both of the ports on the "SAN" host connect directly to the Hyper-V hosts and still be able to do shared storage / VM Migrations?
