3TB Mybook Live transfer speeds?

Hey guys, just curoius about my Mybook Live. Its 10/100/1000 Lan only (no USB). I have it and my PC connected to a DLink Gigabit Switch, and then a 3rd port going to my Router/Modem Combo unit. When I transfer large files from PC to MBL, i get about 60Mb/Sec transfer speeds. Is this about right? I know im going to be limited by the internal HD of my PC, and of the MBL, just wondering if this is correct, or not. There is no other network traffic (well except maybe background windows processes etc), so it should be all available to the drive.
 
It's not out of range, I wouldn't expect much more than that from an appliance like that, 1Gbps is going to get you just over 100MB a second under ideal conditions, with high quality interfaces.
 
Thanks guys. I was just curious. Dont recall what a xfer speed was before upgrading and throwing in the gigabit router. I know it was pretty painful using my 54mbps wifi to it from the laptop.
 
Yeah Wireless G will be lucky to hit 3MB a second, you've upgraded substantially :) 3TB of storage isn't that useful without a decent connection to it.
