I'm looking to buy a mother board, i found one, but im wondering how i would go about see'ing if it supports 3tb hard drives.

NOT TO BOOT off of, but if they are detected,

the motherboard has this for sata controler.

SATA Controller:
Intel® ICH7R:
4 * SATA2 300MB/s ports:
Intel® Matrix Storage(Windows only) support RAID 0, 1, 10, RAID 5 (S/W)
LSI® MegaRAID (Linux/Windows) support RAID 0, 1, 10
 
What's the mother board name and manufacturer?
Assuming that the "LSI MegaRaid"refers to an extra chip (in addition to the Intel ICH) - are you asking about the LSI chip or the Intel ICH?
