3rd party firewall

When my Kaspersky Internet Security software expires i was thinking of using the new free edition of it but it doesnt have a firewall i think software with it. So i was thinking about the free version of zone alarm and kaspersky free for my next security suite. Im behind a netgear router anyways so i think im covered plus windows 10 has a firewall but not sure how much better or worse the windows firewall is and im no network GOD or anything so please feel free to give me your opinions on this matter and choices Thanks !
