I finally made it, my Opteron finally cooperated with me and gave me 3Ghz. On air cooling too!
Its a 38% overclock so personally i think thats pretty good.
Im using a Zalman CNPS700B-Cu for cooling and have 1x120mm arctic cooling (or coolermaster, i cant remember which) exhaust fan, 1x120mm antec 3 speed fan as intake and an 80mm fan on the side.
Running Corsair XMS DDR400
Whats a safe voltage range to be running at if i'm gunna be keeping this running alot of the time? To get this overclock i had to get it pretty close to or at 1.6V and the stock voltage is 1.4
